Vitamin c acne and acne - pimples on chin, jaw, neck

When getting acne treatment system, it is best to start with some research on the products and the company. You can do this with a search on acne treatment review sites. There will be some products that are consistently highly rated. You should check out these products as their popularity shows very promising effectiveness. Make comparisons with a few sites and read the ingredients that each product contains. You should choose products that are compatible with your skin type.
• Exfoliate the affected area two times per week. Exfoliation does not mean to scrub your skin raw! This will only worsen your pimples. Rather, find a good gentle exfoliator that is for acne-prone skin.
Available over the counter, you've probably used a few of these. They are designed to unblock pores so that your skins natural oils can move and be disposed of the way your skin intended. Pretty much anything containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid is good for mild cases of acne, in teenagers and adults. This is especially true when the cream is blended with an antibiotic. Make sure you use a sunscreen that is suitable for acne. You may need to drop the protection factor down from 30 to 15 or thereabouts to get away from the heavy greasy creams. Look for a sunscreen that comes in a gel or spray and contains an ingredient called Mexoryl (either the X or FX varieties) as these won't clog your pores.
